FAQs

Who is eligible for housing at Redemption Promise Villages?

We serve returning citizens (formerly incarcerated individuals), both women and men, as well as individuals experiencing homelessness who receive SSI or are on fixed incomes.

Do you provide private rooms?

No. Our program offers shared housing with shared bedrooms and common areas. This model helps keep costs affordable and builds a sense of community among residents.

What is included in the housing arrangement?

Our shared housing program includes fully furnished rooms, all utilities (electricity, water, and internet), and access to communal living areas such as the kitchen, dining room, and living room. We provide household essentials like kitchen supplies, cleaning products, and toiletries. Laundry facilities are available on-site, and residents receive case management support to access additional resources, including job training, healthcare, and legal assistance.

Are meals included?

No, we do not provide meals. Residents prepare their own food using the fully equipped shared kitchen.

What is the cost of a bed at Redemption Promise Villages?

Costs are varied depending on the property and length of stay. However, all housing is designed to be affordable for SSI and fixed-income residents.

How do you ensure the safety and security of the individuals in your housing program?

Safety is a top priority at Redemption Promise Villages. Our housing is equipped with security features such as surveillance cameras, secure entryways, and on-site staff who monitor the premises. Our community setting is designed to promote a sense of belonging while maintaining a secure and nurturing atmosphere.

Do you provide case management services?

No. We do not provide case management directly. However, we work closely with existing case managers, nonprofits, and reentry programs to coordinate support and resources for residents.

What is the referral process, and how can case managers submit a client for consideration?

Case managers can fill out our online referral form or contact our intake coordinator directly to refer clients to our program. We require basic information about the client’s needs, current situation, and their case manager’s contact details. Once the referral is submitted, we will review the information and schedule an intake interview to assess the client’s suitability for our housing program. We aim to make the process as smooth as possible for both case managers and clients.

Do you house couples, families, or single parents with children?

At this time, our program is designed for single adults only. However, we are in the process of opening homes that will cater to single parents with children. Contact us to get on the waitlist for that housing program.

How many individuals can you accept in your house?

Depending on the location, we can house 2-3 individuals per room. 6-12 per house.

Where are the houses located?
